Building Community Through Design: Park Planet’s Custom Metal Structures at Ensen Community Park

Park Planet proudly partnered with BFS Landscape Architects, the City of Salinas, and ICON Shelter Systems to bring Ensen Community Park to life, a vibrant, community destination built around custom metal structures, entryways, and benches designed for both beauty and durability.

Our team collaborated with BFS Landscape Architects to design and supply the park’s completely customized benches, band shell, entry arch, and metal and fabric shade structures, creating a one-of-a-kind landmark that welcomes visitors and provides inviting spaces to gather, perform, and connect.

Each structure was fabricated by ICON Shelter Systems and tailored to withstand the Salinas climate, providing long-term value and aesthetic appeal. From the distinctive entryways to the shaded seating and performance areas, Park Planet’s focus on customization and craftsmanship helped transform the site into a community landmark.

Ensen Community Park stands as a true example of how custom design and collaboration can transform a public space into a vibrant community destination. From the striking entry arch to the thoughtfully crafted benches and shelters, every element reflects the creativity and craftsmanship that define Park Planet’s work.
