A Fresh Play Space for the Mariposa Community
The playground at Mariposa Park is officially back open, and it’s already doing what it was designed to do, bring the community together through play.
Park Planet partnered with the City of Mariposa to deliver a two-zone playground tailored to different age groups. Separate play areas for ages 2–5 and 5–12 allow younger children to explore safely while giving older kids more opportunities to climb, swing, and challenge themselves.
The new equipment includes slides, monkey bars, and climbing features that support active play and imagination. The layout was designed with flexibility in mind, making it a great fit not only for everyday park use, but also for summer day camps and group programs that rely on durable, high-use play environments.
Projects like Mariposa Park highlight how thoughtful planning and the right equipment can turn a neighborhood park into a space the entire community can enjoy.
